npm install @csstools/postcss-hwb-function --save-dev
PostCSS HWB Function lets you use the hwb()
color function in CSS, following CSS Color Module 4.
1a { 2 color: hwb(194 0% 0%); 3} 4 5b { 6 color: hwb(194 0% 0% / .5); 7} 8 9/* becomes */ 10 11a { 12 color: rgb(0, 196, 255); 13} 14 15b { 16 color: rgba(0, 196, 255, 0.5); 17}
Add PostCSS HWB Function to your project:
1npm install postcss @csstools/postcss-hwb-function --save-dev
Use it as a PostCSS plugin:
1const postcss = require('postcss'); 2const postcssHWBFunction = require('@csstools/postcss-hwb-function'); 3 4postcss([ 5 postcssHWBFunction(/* pluginOptions */) 6]).process(YOUR_CSS /*, processOptions */);
The preserve
option determines whether the original notation
is preserved. By default, it is not preserved.
1postcssHWBFunction({ preserve: true })
1a { 2 color: hwb(194 0% 0%); 3} 4 5b { 6 color: hwb(194 0% 0% / .5); 7} 8 9/* becomes */ 10 11a { 12 color: rgb(0, 196, 255); 13 color: hwb(194 0% 0%); 14} 15 16b { 17 color: rgba(0, 196, 255, 0.5); 18 color: hwb(194 0% 0% / .5); 19}
