git-repo-name

Get the repository name from the git remote origin URL.

Install

Install with npm:

1$ npm install git-repo-name --save

Usage

1var repoName = require('git-repo-name');

By default process.cwd() is used, but you can alternatively specify a different directory as the first argument.

async

1repoName(function(err, name) {
2  //=> 'git-repo-name'
3});

sync

1repoName.sync();
2//=> 'git-repo-name'

cwd

Optionally specify the directory to use.

async

1repoName('foo', function(err, name) {
2  //=> 'repo-foo-name'
3});

sync

1repoName.sync('foo');
2//=> 'repo-foo-name'
