This is a very basic gulp plugin that prints names of files. It's useful as a debugging tool to see which files are moving through the pipe or as a status printout.
1npm install gulp-print
1// CommonJS 2const gulp = require('gulp'); 3const print = require('gulp-print').default; 4 5// ... or ES modules 6import * as gulp from 'gulp'; 7import print from 'gulp-print'; 8 9gulp.task('print', () => { 10 gulp.src('test/*.js') 11 .pipe(print()) 12}); 13 14// ... or using custom formatter: 15 16gulp.task('print', () => { 17 gulp.src('test/*.js') 18 .pipe(print(filepath => `built: ${filepath}`)) 19}); 20 21// ... change log function 22import { setLogFunction } from 'gulp-print'; 23 24setLogFunction(message => console.log('LOG', message));
formatter
is a callback format function that passes in filepath to be printed. Callback should return a string which will be printed.1npm test
