write-yaml

Write YAML. Converts JSON to YAML writes it to the specified file.

Install

Install with npm:

1$ npm install --save write-yaml

Install with yarn:

1$ yarn add write-yaml

Usage

Add to your javascript/node.js application with the following line of code:

1var yaml = require('write-yaml');

async

1var data = {language: 'node_js', node_js: ['0.10', '0.11']};
2
3yaml('.travis.yml', data, function(err) {
4  // do stuff with err
5});

Would write .travis.yml to disk with the following contents:

1language: node_js
2node_js:
3  - "0.10"
4  - "0.11"

sync

1yaml.sync('.travis.yml', data);

Would write .travis.yml to disk with the following contents:

1language: node_js
2node_js:
3  - "0.10"
4  - "0.11"
